GK winery company was founded in 2021 in Kakheti region (Kiziki). The uniqueness of the wine of this region lines in the soil, microclimate and winemaking technology. GK winery is the path of a family tradition.

In the twentieth century, three brothers: Levan,Ivan and David Mchedlishvili started wine production and exporting in Russia and Armenia. Since then their descendants have continuously pursued agronomy, viticulture and wine making. In 2021 the descendant of the Mchedlishvili brothers (fourth generation) – Eka Rukhadze founded the company GK winery and started wine making and export of Georgian traditional wine from local, endemic Kakhetian grape varieties.

The founders of the company and their ancestors have been following the technology of wine making in the traditional manner for more than 100 years.

GK winery company is located in Kiziki, Kakheti,village Nukriani. The winery is equipped for the production of both:kvevri and barrel wine.

The company focuses on making wine from rare Georgian grapes and updates its portfolio every year.

GK winery produces 100,000 bottles of wine annually.

The company still successfully uses the knowledge and experience of the ancestors and also new achievements in technology, that is why GK winery produces wine as pressed in traditional pitchers (Kvevri) as in European way.

The future plans of the company include expansion of wine production,increase of the assortment and cooperation with various countries in the international market with export goals.
